(1895-1946) SS leader in the Soviet Union, personally responsible for ordering the deaths of 100,000 Jews and other ‘undesirables’. Sentenced to death and hung at Riga. His blue ink signature as SS-Gruppenfuhrer and the leader of SS-Gruppe-Sud, cut from a document. Loosely pasted at the bottom of a 160gm 8.5 x 11 in. card, beneath a printed portrait of him in uniform. Fine.
