Nice clean blue ink signature of GENERAL HALDER on portrait card, very fine
General Halder was Commander in Chief of the German Army. He was replaced in 1942 after a disagreement with Hitler. In 1944, Halder was arrested, accused of being involved in the July Plot against Hitler. He was sent to the concentration camp at Dachau, where he was liberated by the Americans in 1945.
