Disection methods of the human body which Mengele signed and actually used at Auschwitz during 1943-1944.This 319 page hardcover medical manual is from the medical library of Dr. Josef Mengele and used by him while he was at Auschwitz, it is signed by him in ink on the inside cover, as well as hand stamped Auschwitz Concentration Camp. No records exist from Mengele while he was at Auschwitz, all were destroyed.
Provenance: This rare medical manual of how to dissect a human being was actually used by Mengele in Auschwitz, it came from an assistant of Von Verschuer at the KWI, who after the war took some of the Mengele medical books to his home. His family found these items and sold them to a historian in New York in the 1990’s
