Eduard Dietl (21 July 1890 – 23 June 1944) was a German general during World War II who commanded the 20th Mountain Army. He was a recipient of the Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords of Nazi Germany.On 23 June 1944, Dietl, generals Thomas-Emil von Wickede, Karl Eglseer and four other passengers were killed in an air crash in Austria

NOTE:This is one of a series of autographs collected by Heinrich Jürs SS-Brigadefuhrer who was killed April 28th 1945. Of this collection, postcards, period photographs, and news clippings were all period signed with some being placed into a series of scrap books. The collection was acquired from the family of Heinrich Jürs – l claim to be the buyer of this collection, any others useing this statement is fine with me, but i am the original buyer, and have spoken several times to his family members, about 2 years ago, regarding his death in 1945, The collection was large, and many sold at auction and by myself, i still have a small collection left.
