VERY RARE..GERHARD BOHME (1902 – 1981) German lawyer and an organizer of the infamous “Action T4″ euthanasia program. Bohne managed the organizational framework which identified victims, transport them to the death camps and certified death, including the administration of estates and provided for formal legal protection of the murderers. Rare T.L.S. on “Gemeinnutzige Krankentranspor GmbH” letterhead, a sham ambulance company established by Bohne to disguise the transport of those to be euthanized, 1p. oblong 8vo., Berlin, Jan. 26, 1941 to Dr. KARL BRANDT, administrator of the T4 program. Grafeneck Euthanasia Center housed in Grafeneck Castle was one of Nazi Germany’s killing centers, primarily used in their forced euthanasia program. At least 10,500 mentally and physically disabled people were systematically killed there during 1940, many by way of poison gas used there for the first time.
